Licensed cultivation program · New York

Soil is the technology.

Royal Crown Farm licenses the living-soil system behind award-winning New York flower: the blueprint, the genetics, predictive AI room control, finished brands and a QC standard. A licensee runs a proven program instead of inventing one.

The market

Where the margin actually is

$1,059 U.S. wholesale spot index, per lb · April 2026 The commodity band. Oversupplied markets converge here, and margins go with them.
$4,500+ New York top-shelf wholesale, per lb · early 2026 Where licensed New York flower has held while national prices compressed.

A four-fold spread. Operators who slide into the commodity band cut inputs and stretch replacement cycles until the business stops working. Operators who hold the top band keep paying for quality, because quality is what holds the band. Our program exists to put a facility in the top band and keep it there.

The gap

What equipment alone cannot do

What a facility can buyWhat still decides the outcome
Lighting, benching, HVAC, fertigationEnvironmental targets set room by room, cultivar by cultivar, day by day
Substrate, nutrition, additivesA feed and dry-back schedule a crew runs identically every cycle
Technical consulting at the account levelTrained staff who hold the standard after the consultant leaves the building
A facility capable of growing cannabisGenetics, packaging and a brand that clears at top-shelf price

Every line on the right is where yield, quality and price are won or lost. Royal Crown Farm closes them as one licensed, audited program.

The program

What a licensee receives

Six parts, licensed together. Each one is already running in our own New York rooms.

Blueprint

Operating blueprint

Room layouts, environmental setpoints, feed schedules and SOPs proven on a 5,000 sq ft canopy and designed to replicate to 50,000.

Substrate

Living soil program

A fixed organic substrate and amendment formula simple enough for a landscape-level crew to run without a cultivation scientist on payroll.

Control

Predictive AI room control

Predictive AI and 24/7 computer vision hold environmental targets and flag deviation, so quality does not drift from harvest to harvest.

Genetics

Genetics portfolio

Quarterly cultivar menus from world-class breeders, matched to the licensee's regional market so the shelf never goes stale.

Brands

Brand deployment rights

A finished brand with packaging, positioning and a target consumer already built. Choose from Jóia, Sipher NYC, Da Best Kine or Jega.

Quality

Training and QC standard

On-site staff training through first harvest, batch testing parameters, and a 2.0% minimum terpene threshold before retail release.

Our standard

Who Royal Crown Farm is

We work with breeders, taste-makers and living-soil scientists to build a connoisseur standard that a crew can repeat.

30 years

Three decades of commercial cultivation

From a 24-plant caregiver garden to permanent living-soil beds that deepen in flavor every cycle.

2025–26

Licensed and operating in New York

Vertically integrated microbusiness license awarded 2025; Tier 1 cultivation license held 2025–26. Facilities in Brooklyn and Staten Island.

2022

NYC Organic Cannabis Cup winner

First and third place on our first harvest in continuous living-soil beds.

$3.3M

Built to our own blueprint

$3.3M in committed equipment across two New York builds: $2.1M in Staten Island and $1.2M in Brooklyn. The program repeats that build for every licensee.

Our roots · 2015 → today

The Journey

Before the facilities, the brands and the technology, there was a bucket of soil. Frank Lopa started growing and studying living organic soil in 2015, then followed the work up the West Coast, back to California and across the country to New York.

The method

What the journey built

Every stop on the map added a piece of the practice Royal Crown Farm licenses today: living-soil biology, microclimate steering, strict selection and clean extraction.

3,500+Organic soil inputs tested
23+Harvest cycles
90%+Phenotypic consistency
< 2 hrsHALO whole-plant extraction
Why minor cannabinoids

Frank's search for relief from chronic Lyme disease led him past THC to the rare cannabinoids. Years of targeted breeding in organic living soil produced flower rich in CBG, CBDV and CBGV, the same work behind our research company, Remedi Therapeutix.

Soil biology

Living soil, built from the microbes up

Frank's framework brings together the soil-food-web work of Dr. Elaine Ingham, Korean Natural Farming as founded by Dr. Cho, and the natural farming practice of Chris Trump. The result is custom microbiome blends, indigenous microorganisms (IMO3) and self-sustaining living-soil beds.

Microclimate

Steering and the Kiss of Sun

Grown across indoor, outdoor and greenhouse rooms. The Kiss of Sun technique exposes greenhouse plants to controlled direct sunlight to drive terpene expression and faster trichome ripening.

Selection

Consistency by discipline

Across 23+ harvest cycles, biological steering holds phenotypic consistency above 90%. Plants that miss the standard for smoothness, resin density or flavor are discarded to protect the brand.

Genetics

Landraces and rare ratios

Breeding exotic landrace genetics toward minor cannabinoids. Indoor living-soil flower reaches ratios like 4% CBDV with 5% CBD, with flavors such as orange passionfruit and Sweet 16, without high THC.

Extraction

HALO: Highly Absorbable Live Oil

Frank's patented solventless process runs whole-plant biomass in an oxygen-free vacuum in under two hours. It keeps delicate acidic precursors such as CBDVa and CBGVa intact and concentrates native terpenes 7 to 20 times.

Today

One program, licensed

The soil program, selection standard and genetics are packaged into the Royal Crown Farm licensing program, so a licensee starts from this work instead of repeating it.

Brand deployment

What holds the top band

Top-shelf price comes from genetics, consistency and a brand a consumer asks for by name. A licensee deploys a finished brand, which is how a first harvest clears at top-shelf instead of wholesale bulk.
